A Luxurious Wedding at Slaughters Manor

Fiona and Kenton celebrated their wedding at the exclusive Slaughters Manor after getting married in a candlelit ceremony at The Parish Church of Saint Mary Lower Slaughter. This stunning contemporary country house hotel was the perfect place to celebrate their special day with a touch of luxury. Here's how they made it happen!

The Venue

Slaughters Manor is nestled in the beautiful Cotswold village of Lower Slaughter, making it an ideal location for an exclusive wedding venue, with the village church right next door it gives the perfect choice of church or civil ceremony. With 19 luxurious bedrooms, there is plenty of room for everyone to get ready for the big day.

Getting Ready

Fiona chose to get ready in the "Valentine" garden suite, and Bethany from Aurora Glos did her hair and makeup, ensuring that she looked absolutely stunning as she walked across the hotel grounds to the church.

Wearing a timeless Justin Alexander off-the-shoulder dress that had been lovingly altered by her friend Chantelle. It was absolutely perfect for her classic yet modern style, and ensured that she felt like a princess as she said her vows in front of her closest family and friends. With Kenton's embroidered shirt cuffs and Fiona's beautifully delicate Kate Spade jewellery it felt like every tiny detail had been thought of.

The Ceremony

Fiona and Kenton chose to have the church lit by candles which created a wonderfully intimate setting. Fiona looked radiant as she walked the short distance across the hotel grounds to the church.

The Decorations

The decorations were kept simple but elegant with white lilies and roses in the church and Fiona's bouquet. The tables were decorated with dramatic stands featuring a magnum of different champagne for each table complete with tasting notes - and fairy lights twinkling throughout the room, creating a romantic atmosphere. The cake was a towering stand of beautiful macarons from La Patisserie Macaron, giving an added touch of elegance that was sure to impress all of their guests!

Following the ceremony guests were treated to drinks in the grounds making the most of the unusual October fair weather!

With the weather looking like it was going to change we took the chance to take the sort walk into the beautiful village of Lower Slaughter to capture their couples portraits before dinner.

After dinner and speeches the couple and their guests came back upstairs into the main hotel for their evening reception. With a lounge, a snug, a pool room, a beautiful curved bar and a room for dancing to their live band there was the perfect space for every guest or every age!

Fiona and Kenton's wedding at Slaughters Manor was nothing short of magical. From the breath-taking venue to Fiona's beautiful dress, every detail was perfectly planned out and executed, resulting in an unforgettable day that will be cherished forever.
