Last February, Georgie and Pete celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire. Working on behalf of The Crowthers, I was honoured to be a part of their special day. From the stunning staircase leading up to the Lavinia Suite where they got ready, to the elegant Stella York gown and vintage family jewellery that Georgie wore, this show-stopping wedding did not disappoint. In this blog post, I will take you through my favourite moments from the day.
Getting Ready
Hedsor House not only has 13 luxury bedrooms, ensuring there is space for everyone to get ready, but the lavish Lavinia Suite is spread over 3 rooms with an enormous bathroom which means there is a beautiful calm to the morning preparations.
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place in Hedsor House’s Centre Hall, with Georgie walking down the aisle on her father’s arm. The attention to detail in this intimate event was remarkable – from the delicate floral arrangements adding elegance to the neutral tones of the hall to Georgie’s romantic veil – every moment was as perfect as could be!
The Reception
After exchanging vows in front of close family and friends, guests made their way into The Great Hall for dinner and drinks while we took some time away to capture some romantic portraits of Georgie and Pete around Hedsor House. This venue really is something special – with its majestic grounds and stunning views providing an idyllic backdrop for these photos. The pair looked so happy together; it was truly wonderful to witness!
Once finished with our photo session we returned to join everyone else in The Grand Ballroom for their meal and speeches. There were plenty of laughs throughout these moments but also some heartfelt words as well which had everyone teary-eyed yet warmed hearts all around.
It was such an honour to have been able to photograph such a spectacular wedding at Hedsor House!
