Hello!
Hey, I’m Cat — Your Photographer,
Hype Woman & Memory-Maker for Life
This is me — the creative whirlwind behind the camera,
the one who’s always up for an adventure, and the person
doing just about everything on your wedding day
(unless I’ve brought along one of my fab second shooters!).
Based in the gorgeous Cotswolds, I live with my lovely husband Lee,
our three brilliantly bonkers kids — Meg, Rhys, and Etta.
Life is noisy, messy, and completely wonderful — and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
When I’m not out shooting weddings or editing with a cuppa in hand, you’ll most likely find me out walking in the countryside - usually training for my next crazy fundraising idea (bonus points if there’s a pub at the end
of it). Sunshine, a grazing board, and good company in a pub garden? That’s my kind of heaven when a home. My true happy place is travelling though and I love to show the kids the world when its not wedding season!
Weddings Are My World
I’ve been around weddings in one way or another since 2005, held my first camera at one in 2007, and took the leap to go full-time in 2015. And honestly? It’s the best thing I ever did.
Weddings just light me up. The energy, the emotion, the beautiful chaos — I love every bit of it. I'm not just there to take pretty photos. I'm there to tell your story with heart, humour, and honesty. Whether I’m wiping tears during the speeches, pinning buttonholes, or dancing alongside you while snapping candids on the dance floor — I’m all in. In fact, getting amongst the crowd and throwing shapes while photographing is my signature move. Why stand on the sidelines when you can party and get the perfect shot?
Photography Is In My Blood
My love of photography runs deep. My grandma was a passionate photographer herself — always behind a camera, documenting everyday moments, and preserving family history with care and love. I don't think any of us realised quite how much is meant until she passed and the hundreds of photographs were discovered. She showed me the magic of capturing memories not just for now, but for the generations that come after us.
That sense of legacy is what drives me. Family means everything to me, and I believe your wedding photographs should be more than beautiful — they should be powerful, lasting reminders of love, laughter, and connection. The kind of images that make your kids, your grandkids, and your future selves feel like they were right there, too.
From Photographer to Family Friend
One of my absolute favourite things about this job is the relationships I build. I start as your photographer, and more often than not, I leave as a friend — sometimes even the family’s go-to photographer for years to come. I’ve shot multiple weddings within the same friendship groups and families, and nothing makes me prouder than being invited back again and again.
When you book me, you’re not just getting someone to take pictures — you’re getting someone who really cares. Someone who’ll mend dresses, wrangle relatives, calm nerves, and celebrate with you like it’s my own big day.
A Little Bit of Showing Off
I'm not amazing at the bragging bit, it's all a bit cringey! But here goes: I’ve won multiple awards over the years — for both my photography and the experience I offer my couples. I’ve been recognised by multiple respected photography associations as well as local and national business awards
But my proudest moments? They always come from the people I work with. The hugs, the happy tears, the heartfelt reviews. The messages saying “we didn’t even notice you there, but you somehow captured everything.” That’s the good stuff.
Don’t Just Take My Word for It
My couples are the best people to tell you what it’s like to have me along on their wedding day — so please check out the reviews on social media and on my reviews page here. From fixing things that go wrong, calming those nerves or hitting the dance floor, I’ve got your back from start to finish.
