Intimate Wedding with Two Brides

After a registry office ceremony just for the closest friends and family, Lindsay & Karan were joined by all their friends at the wonderfully welcoming Burford House Hotel for an amazing relaxed celebration in the glorious sunshine.

I first met Lindsay many years ago and she was a wonderful support to me through some tough times (usually with a lot of alcohol involved!) so when she got in touch to tell me she was getting married I couldn't have been happier - I knew there was going to be one hell of a party! I had never met Karan though so we arranged their pre wedding shoot in a local village to make the most of the Cotswolds stone backdrop and then headed out into the corn fields for golden hour.

When their big day arrived Lindsay and Karan chose to get ready together at home which made for a lovely relaxed morning. Both choosing beautiful, but very non traditional outfits, they really showed their own style and personalities which was so refreshing to see.

First stop was the registry office with just a small handful of their family and closest friends to witness the legal ceremony.

After a very emotional ceremony and some quick family pictures it was time to head off to celebrate! Lindsay and Karan chose a beautiful relaxed outdoor reception at the lovely Burford House Hotel. With their lovely friend Hazel making their cake and desert table and being regular visitors to the hotel it truly felt like a family affair!

The bigger group of friends were then treated to their very own celebrant ceremony conducted by another good friend - who given the surname Canon couldn't help but dress up as a Canon for a hilarious surprise. Amongst the laughter the ceremony was heartfelt and beautiful with both ladies writing their own vows. Surrounded by so many friends and family in the intimate courtyard, you really could feel the love.

Once the ceremony was over it really was time to eat, drink and be merry! The atmosphere was so relaxed, it almost felt like just another really busy summer Saturday in a Burford hotspot! But the love that spilt out just showed how happy everyone was for this wonderful couple.
