Hand Fasting Ceremony at Ash Barton

Alicia and Ben chose the amazing Ash Barton Estate for their special day. Staying for three days with an after party around the pool they made the most of the festival vibes at Ash Barton to bring all their nearest and dearest together for an unforgettable celebration.

The details for Alicia and Bens wedding were just beautiful, with tambourines for the bridesmaids instead of flowers that were hand painted by Alicia's mum, a stunning dried flower head crown and matching bouquet for the bride, handmade bunting around the courtyard, a breath-taking bridal skirt and top from Lucy Can't Dance and matching floral ties for the Gents which was made into a headband for the Best Woman - every touch was a special one!

Alicia had chosen a mixture of friends and family as her bridesmaids, with her younger sister and her Grandmother being part of the bridal party (Definately my favourite bridesmaid of the 2021!)

Ben and Alicia's day was made of two ceremonies, one legal ceremony which was conducted by the registrars under the old oak tree and included a beautiful piano solo from Alicia's younger sister as well as some lovely songs chosen for all the guests to sing along with.

When all the legal formalities were complete it was time to move up into the stunning old chapel for a beautiful, candlelit, hand fasting ceremony conducted by a lovely friend of the couple. Once again the couple chose to include family by allowing them each to place their own rope before the knot was tied.

With all the formalities out the way it was time to head into the amazing party barn for a vegan feast and speeches.

We made the most of the last of the light to sneak off for 10 minutes alone to capture some couple shots in the amazing cobbled courtyard.

And then it was time to party!! The party barn at Ash Barton truly lives up to its name with indoor trampoline, snooker hall, games and even an indoor football court! But for me the biggest highlight is their amazing disco dancefloor complete with magic mirror wall! The best start to the best party!
