An Elegant Caswell House Wedding

On a beautiful Spring day, Eleanor and Scott said “I do” in the famous Downton Abbey church. They were surrounded by family and friends who had gathered to witness the joyous occasion. From the stunning Savin London dress from White Lace and Butterflies to the green and white bouquet from Joanna Carter Florist, Eleanor looked fabulous. Make Up by Imber Beauty and Hair by Charlie Donaldson ensured that all of the girls had perfect hair and makeup for their special day.

Getting Ready at Caswell House

The day started off at Caswell House where Eleanor got ready with her bridesmaids. Make Up by Imber Beauty and Hair by Charlie Donaldson provided everyone with perfect hair and makeup. The finishing touch was Eleanor’s stunning Savin London dress from White Lace and Butterflies which she paired with a simple green and white bouquet from Joanna Carter Florist. All of the details were perfectly coordinated in black, white, and clean lines that added a modern twist to the country elegance theme.

After getting ready at Caswell House, it was time for Eleanor and Scott to exchange their vows in front of family and friends at Bampton Church in Oxfordshire –the same location used as Downton Abbey! The ceremony was filled with love, laughter, tears of joy –and lots of photographs! It was an amazing moment for both Eleanor and Scott as they committed themselves to each other for life.

Reception at Caswell House

After saying “I do” in one of England's most iconic churches, guests returned to Caswell House for an afternoon filled with music from the amazing Jemima Phillips Harpist - a musical genius who plays modern music on harp, complete with loop pedal! The simple yet elegant details that had been chosen earlier in the day continued throughout the reception as well; everything was coordinated perfectly in black, white, and clean lines that added a modern twist to the country elegance theme. It was truly a day to remember!

During the golden hour we snuck out for some time away from the guests to capture some beautiful couples portraits for Scott & Eleanor - and the famous Caswell House ducks even made a well-timed appearance, much to the delight of Eleanor!

I left Scott and Eleanor in the capable hands of their Live Events Group DJ to party the night away! Congratulations Scott and Eleanor, it was a pleasure to capture this beautiful day.
