Micro Weddings - How to make special memories!

With so many weddings being postponed a lot of people are opting for micro ceremonies. Whether that is a stand alone ceremony like an elopement, or a small legal ceremony ahead of having a bigger celebration with family and friends at a later date it is important to still mark the occasion in some way.

A lot of registry offices, due to size, are having to restrict the number of people allowed in the building well below the government ceremony allowance - but that doesn't mean you don't have to have fantastic imagery after the ceremony. This gorgeous couple chose to have a Christmas micro wedding with just two witnesses ahead of their big celebration at the fabulous Merriscourt next year. Due to restrictions they decided to not have pictures of the ceremony itself but to spend an hour after the ceremony capturing some beautiful just for themselves - and wow don't they look stunning!

M & D chose to have a walk around the local park - which admittedly isn't your average public park! With ruins, trees, pond and a bank along the River Thames it gave us lots of opportunity for some amazing images. But you could choose anywhere, the biggest advantage to not having guests is you control your own timescale, so why not go to your favourite walking place or even take a road trip with your photographer to the coast or Welsh castle?!

With flowers by the immensely talented The Flower Fairies (Oxford) and stunning hair and make up by the lovely Holly at Oxford Wedding Hair & Make Up this looked every bit the stunning, modern wedding. I can't wait to see what M & D do next year!
